Work Visa
After successfully completing your studies, you will be eligible for a 1 – 3 year Post Study Work Visa, depending on what and where you studied. This visa allows you to work anywhere in New Zealand for any employer, as long as the employment is legal*.

Step 3 – Utilise this time to find employment which is consistent with your studies
Step 4 – Gain valuable international work experience to help further your career
If you have a partner, who you have lived with for over one year, then you may be able to invite them to join you in New Zealand on a work visa!
*Excluding some professions
Requirements
- Health and Character
- Necessary skills and/or experience to meet ANZSCO requirements
- Adequate Labour Market Testing – your employer must have made genuine attempts to recruit New Zealander’s for the position
- The duration of this visa depends on the wages or how much you are paid per hour
